When I first met Brittany and Matt, they gushed how they wanted their upcoming wedding at Greenpoint Loft in Brooklyn to feel romantic but fun. They chose the rustic space at 67 West Street because they were obsessed with the stunning views of the Manhattan skyline from the venue’s private terrace.
Sitting in a booth at New Yorkers’ beloved bar Weather Up in TriBeCa where Matt is the manager, we shared a few drinks and loads of laughs. They told me that they would be walking into the reception to the WWE song and they’d be serving mac+cheese, fried chicken, and more BBQ for dinner. Incredibly excited about their wedding, they wanted to keep it as *them* as possible.
When shooting their wedding, it was amazing how many laughs and happy tears filled the room. Brittany’s dad’s speech over dinner had everyone in stitches, and the orange sunset over the skyline had all the guests in awe during cocktail hour.

Even better, there are lots of local wine bars and cute spots in the neighborhood. Le Fanfare is a romantic, cozy Italian spot on Manhattan Avenue that does private events – perfect for your rehearsal dinner! The infamous Brooklyn club Good Room is just a short walk from the venue, an excellent place to continue the after party and dance the night away.
