An All-White Modern Classic Wedding at Hudson House
The word *obsessed* to describe this Hudson House wedding would be the understatement of the century. Located in Jersey City, Hudson House is a brand new venue on the NYC scene. It is perfectly located with sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the Hudson River. This incredible backdrop is exactly why Sam and Brett chose this venue.
When I asked Sam to describe her vision for the wedding at our very first meeting, she spoke without missing a beat. “Non-cookie cutter, yet still modern, elegant, and chic.” The couple wanted a feeling of warmth to the event, a welcome respite from the February cold outdoors.
Sam and Brett blended their Jewish traditions with a modern approach for the style of the wedding. For their ceremony, they wed under an acrylic chuppah filled with orchids, lilies, and all other white flowers. It was designed by Dalsimer Spitz & Peck. They had over 200 guests at their wedding reception. The design included mix of tables and floral styles to bring a unique feel to the event.
And finally, they invested in an absolutely epic flower wall. This served as a backdrop for all the photos with their guests and wedding party.
